House Removed from Client's Shoulders

Client Description
Ohio Private Non-profit Social Service Director / Administrator

Challenge
Client was promoted to Director Position based on success as Senior Social Worker. Progressively overwhelmed with compound / complex schedule and work responsibilities in a financially stressed public sector social service entity.

Insight
Client had given up, thinking there was no solution in sight and was making preparations to move on to a position that they thought was more well-suited to them - they were already in the process of printing resumes and preparing a resignation.

Solutions/Results
Working Order provided parallel integrated paper and electronic filing system including scheduling, contacts, communications and project / task delegation. Desktop and immediate work area were re-arranged to create logical and committed workflow. Schedule and time evaluation was done for one month, resulting in realization that meetings and their follow-up were taking 100% of work time, resulting in the need to work overtime. Ongoing follow-up support currently in place.

Client Comment
"I feel like a house has been lifted from my shoulders... I talked to ("Executive Director") and told her what a difference you made, how wonderful you are, and how much better I feel about who I am. I am a new woman. Thank you very much."
